The International Water Institute is a 501c3 nonprofit. All donations are used to support our student educational programs: River of Dreams, River Watch, and River Explorers. We serve over 600 5-12 graders annually throughout the Red River Basin.

2026 marks the 31st anniversary of our River Watch program, and we’re planning a special celebration day at the Alerus Center in Grand Forks for students and their communities.
