Kyle graduated from the University of Wisconsin – River Falls in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Geography with a GIS/Cartography minor. He joined the Conservation Corps in late 2017 and began his placement as a GIS Mapping and Outreach Corpsmember with the International Water Institute in January of 2018. He previously held positions as a GIS Technician at Geospan Corporation, GIS/OEM Intern with Goodhue County, and a GIS, Geography and Geology Tutor at UW-River Falls. He enjoys the challenge of GIS, the artistic aspect of the cartographic process, and the opportunity to teach and help others.


Outside of work Kyle enjoys hiking, camping, kayaking, cooking, admiring maps, and reading about the history of cartography. He is also a certified scuba diver and hopes to someday dive shipwrecks and learn the art of underwater photography.
