Meet Marcus Langevin

Marcus Langevin | Monitoring and Outreach Corpsmember

Marcus Langevin is the 2019 Monitoring and Outreach Corpsmember, serving in a partnership between the Conservation Corps Minnesota & Iowa and the International Water Institute. During his service year Marcus will be assisting with the Watershed Pollutant Load Monitoring Network (WPLMN), River of Dreams, River Watch, and other ongoing projects and events. Before his work with IWI, Marcus worked as a Park Ranger in Glacier National Park, Montana where he helped to enrich the recreational and educational experiences of park visitors.
Marcus is a graduate of the University of Minnesota, Morris where he received a B.A. in Geology. He is excited to share his love of rocks and Minnesota’s geologic history with kids and adults alike, and hopes that through better understanding the processes that shape our landscape, we will be able to care for and use our resources. Marcus is from Thief River Falls, MN and grew up canoeing the local rivers and lakes with his father. Other interests include camping, climbing, kayaking, and running.
